China Dairy Industry Association (CDIA)
China Dairy Industry Association (CDIA) is a national, first-tier industry organization approved by the former Ministry of Light Industry and officially registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs. Established in 1995, the association joined the International Dairy Federation (IDF) the same year and set up the IDF China National Committee. CDIA maintains close cooperation with dairy organizations in leading dairy countries including Australia, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Denmark, France, Germany, the United States, and others, and has co-organized 25 dairy technology training programs with the Australian dairy authority to support talent development in China.
The association serves as a bridge between government, industry, and enterprises, supporting policy and standard development, promoting fair competition, strengthening consumer protection, and advancing international cooperation. It operates 11 specialized committees covering areas such as technology, regulations and standards, infant formula, deep-processed dairy products, nutrition and functional dairy, green development, testing, and intelligent manufacturing. CDIA also publishes authoritative industry journals and annual reports and organizes the China Dairy Industry Annual Conference and Dairy Technology Expo, recognized as the most influential and important events in China’s dairy sector.
