The Center Overview

The Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC), a joint venture between Shanghai Lujiazui Exhibition Development Co. and Germany’s leading exhibition groups, was established in 2001 and hosts around 100 exhibitions annually, drawing over 4 million visitors. It features 17 column-free halls with 200,000 m² indoor and 100,000 m² outdoor space, plus 51 conference rooms, 20 truck unloading zones, and parking for 4,730 vehicles. Each hall offers flexible setups and logistics support. Initial construction covered 45,000 m² indoors and 20,000 m² outdoors with robust infrastructure. Future plans include a tower with a hotel, offices, and conference center.
