Beijing National Convention Center Phase II (CNCC II) in Beijing’s Olympic Central Area spans 780,000 sqm, designed by Christian de Portzamparc and developed by Beijing Beichen Convention & Exhibition Investment Co., Ltd. Inspired by a “Kunpeng spreading its wings,” it combines traditional Chinese eaves with modern steel architecture. Certified with LEED Platinum and Three-Star Green Building standards, the complex includes 420,000 sqm of exhibition space and 360,000 sqm of supporting facilities. Completed in 2024, it will open in May 2025 as a key venue for China’s diplomatic and high-end events, with Ritz-Carlton and Marriott Marquis Hotels joining in 2026 to form a world-class convention ecosystem.
