21st China International Animation Festival takes place from May 29 to June 2, 2025, at Baima Lake Animation Plaza in Hangzhou. Covering 65,000 sqm, the festival hosts over 100 exhibitors showcasing original comics, animations, games, merchandise, and cutting-edge technologies including AIGC and XR applications. The event draws more than 230,000 visitors and is organized by Hangzhou Municipal Government, Zhejiang Provincial Culture Department, and Zhejiang Radio and Television Group. The festival aims to promote industry innovation, cultural exchange, and business networking among animation, gaming, and digital media sectors, supporting Hangzhou’s status as China’s “Animation Capital.”
