The 9th Silk Road International Exposition and China East-West Cooperation and Investment Trade Fair, referred to as the Silk Expo, will be held from May 21 to 25, 2025, at the Xi’an Silk Road International Convention and Exhibition Center. Under the theme: Deepening Connectivity – Expanding Trade Cooperation, this event is hosted by the Shaanxi Provincial Government. Pakistan will serve as the guest country, with Liaoning Province and Shandong Province as guest provinces. The Silk Expo will feature over ten key conferences and forums. Pakistan and the guest provinces, along with local cities, will organize a series of trade and investment exchange activities.
The Expo covers 72,000 square meters with five exhibition areas: International Exchange, Interprovincial Cooperation, Transportation and Logistics, Advanced Manufacturing, and Modern Energy. It will comprehensively showcase the Belt and Road Initiative countries, various provinces, and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, highlighting their overall image, resources, and key projects. Investment negotiations, bulk trade, and project signings will occur alongside an online exhibition, adopting an online-offline integration model to provide exhibitors and attendees with online platforms, thus fostering the development of the Silk Expo.

Showcasing Belt and Road countries, Central Asian nations, and Shaanxi’s global partnerships over 16,000 square meters, emphasizing international cooperation and trade. - Interprovincial Cooperation Exhibition:
Featuring provincial achievements, investment opportunities, and regional collaboration across 10,000 square meters, promoting cross-regional synergy. - Transportation and Logistics Exhibition:
Covering 16,000 square meters of multimodal transport, smart logistics, infrastructure connectivity, and logistics innovation for integrated supply chains. - Advanced Manufacturing Exhibition:
Spanning 20,000 square meters, this section highlights high-end industries including new energy vehicles, intelligent manufacturing, and photovoltaic technologies. - Modern Energy Exhibition:
A 10,000-square-meter showcase of energy and chemical industries, major industrial projects, and global cooperation efforts to build a sustainable energy ecosystem in Shaanxi.
