The Exhibitions and Conferences Alliance (ECA)
The Exhibitions and Conferences Alliance (ECA) is a nonprofit coalition of leading professional, industry, and labor associations that serve as the unified public policy and advocacy voice of the U.S. business events industry. Founded in 2021, ECA represents an interconnected ecosystem including exhibitors, event and conference organizers, venues, suppliers, and partners engaged in exhibitions, trade shows, conferences, and meetings. The alliance’s mission is to influence public policy at local, state, federal, and international levels to support job creation, economic growth, affordability, and competitiveness for the industry. Its advocacy work includes public policy agendas on trade, workforce development, international travel, sustainability, and operating environments for events. ECA collaborates with member associations and global partners, organizes initiatives such as the ECA Advocacy Network, and engages policymakers to champion the economic and societal impact of face-to-face business events.
