Singapore Dental Association

The Singapore Dental Association (SDA) is the principal professional association representing dentists in Singapore and advancing the dental profession’s interests locally and internationally. Established in 1967 following Singapore’s separation from Malaysia — with historical roots in the Malayan Dental Association dating back to 1938 — the SDA promotes integrity, ethics, education, research, professional standards, and public dental health awareness. It serves as a platform for continuing education, advocacy, community outreach, professional conduct, and industry communication, while supporting its members and facilitating links between dental professionals and the public.
