With a registered capital of 266.44 million RMB, it is jointly owned by companies such as Greenland Holdings (39%), Shanghai Newspaper Group (30.8%), and Shanghai Xinhua Bookstore (20%). The company operates across seven business sectors, including technology parks, cultural finance, real estate, education, publishing, and arts. Notable projects include the “Space of Light” bookstore and art museum complex, and the “n-th Power” cultural brand incubation center. In 2024, its assets totaled 10.669 billion RMB, with revenue of 1.859 billion RMB. Originally restructured from 34 state-owned cultural enterprises, it became China’s first mixed-ownership book distribution group in 2004.
