Jiangsu Energy Storage Association (JSESA)

Jiangsu Energy Storage Association (JSESA) is a provincial industry organization established in September 2021 in Jiangsu Province, China, under the guidance of the Jiangsu Provincial Development and Reform Commission (Energy Bureau) and with support from several government departments. It is the first provincial-level association in China dedicated to the energy storage industry. The association brings together companies and institutions across the energy storage value chain, including leading enterprises such as CATL, Trina Solar, and Shenghong Energy. Its mission is to promote technological innovation, industry collaboration, and policy development to support the growth of the energy storage sector and China’s “dual carbon” goals (carbon peak and carbon neutrality). The association organizes industry conferences, exhibitions, and research initiatives—such as the CESC International Energy Storage Conference—and provides a platform for cooperation among government agencies, businesses, and research institutions to accelerate the development of green energy and energy storage technologies in China.
