Japan Management Association (JMA), established on March 30, 1942, is a Tokyo-based non-profit association dedicated to advancing management innovation and corporate performance across industries. Known in Japanese as 一般社団法人 日本能率協会, JMA provides a wide range of professional services including management research and surveys, information collection and dissemination, human resource training and development, certification and verification (e.g., ISO audits), and organization of conferences and trade exhibitions. It supports corporate management improvement through education, consulting, publications, and events such as industry expos across Japan and Asia. Headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo, JMA also collaborates with internal and external organizations to foster industrial development and help businesses adapt to evolving economic and operational challenges.
