Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA)

The Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association, Inc. (JAMA), established in 1967 and headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo, promotes the development of Japan’s automobile industry and its contribution to social and economic welfare. With overseas offices in Washington, D.C., Brussels, and Beijing, JAMA conducts industry studies, supports production and technology improvements, and advances policies on trade and international cooperation. Its membership includes leading automotive companies such as Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Mazda, Subaru, Suzuki, Mitsubishi, Yamaha, and others, with General Motors Japan recognized as a former member and friend of JAMA.
