International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE)

The International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) is a global non-profit professional association founded in 1980 to advance scientific, technical and regulatory knowledge across the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical lifecycle. With a membership of over 20,000 professionals in more than 90 countries, ISPE supports pharmaceutical and biotech industry practitioners through conferences, training, technical guidance documents, communities of practice, and networking platforms. The organization focuses on manufacturing innovation, operational excellence, regulatory insights and workforce development to help members develop, manufacture, and reliably deliver quality medicines and biologic therapies worldwide. Headquartered in North Bethesda, Maryland, ISPE also operates additional offices and training centers to deliver educational and collaborative programs regionally and internationally.
