Indonesian Dental Association (PDGI)
The Indonesian Dental Association (Persatuan Dokter Gigi Indonesia, PDGI) is Indonesia’s national professional organization for dentists, founded on 22 January 1950 and headquartered in Jakarta. PDGI brings together dental professionals across the country and operates through regional and local branches to support clinical practice, education, research, public oral health initiatives and professional standards. It collaborates with stakeholders to improve oral health, promote continuing education for dental practitioners, strengthen governance and advocacy for dental professionals, and help advance dentistry as a trusted healthcare discipline in Indonesia. PDGI also plays a key role in organizing national dental events, supporting professional development, and representing Indonesian dentists in international dental organizations.
