Forum for Innovative Regenerative Medicine (FIRM)
The Forum for Innovative Regenerative Medicine (FIRM) is a non‑profit industry association established on June 17, 2011 and based in Tokyo, Japan. Its mission is to support the industrial development and commercialization of regenerative medicine, including cell therapies, tissue engineering, and related technologies, by building industry‑led partnerships with government entities, universities, and private companies. FIRM works to create social systems that enable safe, stable access to regenerative medical products, offers policy advice and industry consultation, facilitates international collaboration and standardization, conducts surveys and research publications, and hosts workshops and educational events for stakeholders in the field. It serves as a think tank and advocacy organization to address regulatory, commercial, and practical challenges in bringing regenerative treatments to clinical and market use.
