Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation (CANSO)
The Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation (CANSO) is the global representative body for air navigation service providers (ANSPs) and related aviation industry participants. Founded in 1996 and headquartered in the Netherlands, CANSO serves as the global voice of the air traffic management (ATM) sector, bringing together ANSPs, airspace users, operators, suppliers and industry partners to share expertise, develop best practices, and shape the future of safe and efficient air navigation services worldwide.
CANSO members collectively support a very large share of global air traffic, and the organisation operates through workgroups and forums to exchange information, set performance standards, and influence aviation policy and regulation. CANSO also represents its members in key international aviation bodies, including having official observer status at the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
Regional offices support its work across Africa, Europe, Asia Pacific, Latin America and the Caribbean, reinforcing global cooperation on air navigation performance enhancement and innovation.
