China Optometric and Optical Association

China Optometric and Optical Association (COOA), founded in 1985, is the only national-level organization for China’s eyewear industry. It was established with support from several former central government ministries and brings together companies and institutions involved in eyewear production, fitting, sales, services, education, and technology, as well as related groups and individuals. It is a non-profit social organization supervised by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council and registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs of China.
