China Electrotechnical Society (CES), founded in 1981, is a national, non-profit academic organization legally registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs and operating under the supervision of the China Association for Science and Technology. It serves as a key bridge between the government and professionals in the electrical engineering field, promoting the development of China’s electrical engineering industry. CES has more than 50,000 individual members and 1,500 organizational members, covering major disciplines such as electrical machines, power electronics, power systems and automation, high voltage and insulation, and emerging electrical technologies. The society actively engages in academic exchange, standards development, professional training, certification, exhibitions, publications, technology evaluation, and talent development, supporting innovation and application of electrical engineering across energy, industry, transportation, construction, and new energy sectors.
