China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE)

China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE) was established in July 1981 and is supervised by China’s Ministry of Education. It is the national organization responsible for promoting non-governmental international education cooperation and exchange. As of September 2023, CEAIE includes 10 functional departments, 4 affiliated institutions, 16 branches, and local associations across 31 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities. It has 1,177 group member organizations, covering various educational institutions. On July 21, 2025, CEAIE announced the formal cancellation of its Education and Cultural Creativity branch.
