China Dairy Association

Dairy Association of China (DAC) is a national, non-profit industry organization representing China’s dairy sector, including dairy farming, milk processing, dairy consumption, and related service providers. Founded in 1982 as the China Dairy Cattle Association, it was restructured and renamed in 1999 following a merger with the former China Dairy Industry Association. The association is officially registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs of China and operates under the guidance of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. In 2024, DAC was recognized as a 4A-level national social organization. To support industry development, its secretariat consists of eight departments covering administration, dairy farming, dairy processing, information and communications, exhibitions, publishing, member services, and international cooperation.
