China Building Decoration Association (CBDA)

China Building Decoration Association (中国建筑装饰协会, CBDA) is a national‑level industry association established in September 1984 under the approval of the Ministry of Civil Affairs and guided by the Ministry of Housing and Urban‑Rural Development of China. It serves as the official representative body for the building decoration industry in China, with membership that includes thousands of enterprises, regional associations, and industry professionals nationwide. The CBDA’s mission is to promote and regulate the development of the architectural decoration sector, provide industry standards and best practices, offer policy feedback to government departments, and support professional exchanges, research and publications. The association oversees multiple work departments and professional committees covering areas such as design, construction, information technology, and cultural development in architectural decoration, and also maintains a network of regional branches across China.
