China Association of Assistive Products (CAAP)

The China Association of Assistive Products (CAAP), established in 1986 and formerly known as the China Prosthesis and Orthosis Association, is a national non-profit industry organization guided by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of China. Representing enterprises, institutions, professionals and experts in the assistive products sector, CAAP is responsible for supporting and coordinating the development of the industry nationwide. As an independent legal entity and the official industry association entrusted by the government, CAAP also maintains international cooperation and is a member of the International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics (ISPO).
