Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC)
The Aviation Industry Corporation of China is a large Chinese state-owned aerospace and defense conglomerate headquartered in Beijing. The company was established in 2008 through the merger of the former China Aviation Industry Corporation I and II to consolidate China’s aviation industry under a single group. AVIC focuses on the research, design, manufacturing, and support of civil and military aircraft, helicopters, avionics systems, and aerospace equipment. The group also operates in related sectors such as electronics, automobiles, engineering services, and advanced technology systems.
