Zhumadian International Convention and Exhibition Center

Zhumadian International Convention & Exhibition Center is a landmark complex in Tianzhong (Zhumadian, southern Henan), covering about 500 mu with 156,000 m² of floor space and integrating exhibitions, conferences, banquets, and performances. Its “Seed of Tianzhong” design draws on local sesame-seed imagery and Central Plains culture, with a central courtyard (symbolizing “four waters returning to the hall”) and a folded glass–pale gold façade evoking rippling wheat. Since opening in 2019, it has hosted major events including the 22nd China Agro-products Processing Investment & Trade Fair and the city’s May “Two Sessions,” and aims to grow the local MICE economy. Facilities include indoor and outdoor exhibition zones (4,000 m²/350 booths and 86,000 m²/2,500 booths), over 20 meeting/VIP rooms for 50–1,300 people, a 20,000 m² parking area, and advanced security and fire systems.
