The Center Overview

Wenzhou Olympic Sports Center is located south of the Longwan District Administrative Center, bordered by Longhai Road, Chengbei Road, Huanshan East Road, and Yongding Road. The complex includes a main stadium, a comprehensive sports arena, the Wenzhou Sports School (Yongzhong Campus), and supporting facilities. The Phase I project covers about 121 acres with a total floor area of 104,000 m², featuring a 5,000-seat gymnasium, 1,000-seat swimming hall, and an underground parking lot with over 1,200 spaces, with an investment of 887 million RMB. Phase II spans 342.7 acres with a 50,000-seat main stadium and a 400-meter outdoor training field, built to national standards for hosting major sports events, including potential Asian Games venues. Located 14 km from downtown Wenzhou, 4 km from Yongqiang Airport, and near key transport routes, the center enjoys a prime geographical and logistical advantage.
