Completed in July 1996 and officially opened on March 13, 1997, the Nangang Exhibition Center is a large, dual-level professional venue with space for 2,465 standard booths—double the size of the Taipei World Trade Center Exhibition Hall. It features eight flexible meeting rooms (expandable to twelve), three restaurants, and seven street-facing retail stores, offering modern and user-friendly facilities. The upper hall spans 126 x 180 meters with a clear height of 14.3–27.3 meters and no columns, making it ideal for exhibitions, concerts, conferences, and sporting events. The center includes wireless internet, multilingual signage, and digital navigation systems. Covering a total floor area of 144,000 square meters with nine floors (seven above ground, two underground), the venue also houses offices, meeting and dining areas, and technical facilities. Built at a cost of NT$3.59 billion, the Nangang Exhibition Center is a world-class convention hub driving economic growth, international events, and Taiwan’s exhibition industry development.
