The Center Overview

The Shengze International Convention and Exhibition Center, also known as the “Cocoon of the City”, is located at Shengze’s key transport hub with a site area of 30,000 sqm and a total investment of 140 million RMB. Inspired by Shengze’s silk culture, the design symbolizes a cocoon wrapped in silk, representing both heritage and future opportunities. The venue covers 51,660 sqm of land, with a total construction area of 38,657 sqm and a main exhibition hall of 10,000 sqm. At 35 meters high, the center integrates water features, silk-inspired architecture, and eco-landscapes, offering modern exhibition facilities for large-scale textile and cultural events while reflecting Shengze’s identity as China’s Silk Capital.
