The Center Overview

Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center is a state-of-the-art venue located in the heart of the 2010 Shanghai Expo area near the Huangpu River. Spanning 11.5 hectares with a total building area of 171,000 m², it offers around 100,000 m² of exhibition space, including Asia’s largest column-free indoor hall. The center features five exhibition pavilions, conference rooms, VIP areas, and over 90,000 m² of supporting facilities. Easily accessible via major roads, bridges, and Metro Lines 6, 7, 8, and 13, it is surrounded by key landmarks and five-star hotels, making it ideal for international events.
