The Shanghai National Exhibition and Convention Center, jointly developed by China’s Ministry of Commerce and the Shanghai Municipal Government, is the world’s largest exhibition complex, spanning over 1.5 million sqm. Opened in 2011 with a 16 billion RMB investment, it integrates exhibition, conference, commercial, office, and hotel facilities. Its iconic clover-shaped design reflects Chinese cultural elements. The venue offers 600,000 sqm of exhibition space across 17 halls and was certified as China’s largest green exhibition building in 2020. Located in the Hongqiao Business District, it is directly connected to Hongqiao Railway Station, Airport, and Metro Line 2.
