Hongdao International Convention and Exhibition Center

Hongdao International Convention and Exhibition Center is located in Qingdao National High-tech Industrial Development Zone, northern Qingdao, and is the largest fair complex in Shandong Province. It features an H-shaped layout with a curved membrane roof entrance hall, nine multi-storey halls (four one-story on the west and five two-story on the east) offering 14 exhibition spaces, plus a multifunctional upper floor in the north-eastern hall. A glass facade with fish-belly beams and exposed concrete colonnades, which conceal access ramps, define the venue’s modern design. The column-free halls and entrance are built with steel structures and cast steel elements, complemented by an office tower and a hotel tower—all engineered to rigorous seismic standards.
