CaoCao Chuxing and Yunjiang Technology are teaming up to bring humanoid robots into the world of Robotaxis. On December 1, 2025, the two companies signed a strategic partnership to explore how robotics can make vehicle maintenance, cleaning, and charging smarter, greener, and fully automated.

CaoCao CEO Gong Xin and Yunjiang founder Liu Peichao led the signing ceremony in China, signaling a major step toward a fully intelligent Robotaxi ecosystem. CaoCao, backed by Geely, has already built a “triple-smart” strategy combining custom vehicles, autonomous driving tech, and smart operations. Yunjiang, a global leader in humanoid and multi-legged robots, has deployed over 100,000 robots across 15 industries, bringing deep experience in autonomous decision-making and environmental perception to the table.

The partnership will focus on integrating robots into Robotaxi hubs to handle tasks like cleaning, inspections, and energy management, while also feeding real-world operational data back into AI systems to improve efficiency. The two companies will co-develop intelligent operation centers and explore ways to link smart mobility with seamless consumer experiences.

CaoCao’s “Green Smart Transit Island,” the industry’s first, officially opened in Hangzhou on December 3. Yunjiang’s humanoid robot Atom is now on-site as one of the first “smart employees,” handling AI-guided tours, autonomous vehicle maintenance, and multi-robot task coordination. This combination of smart guidance and unmanned upkeep sets a new global benchmark for Robotaxi infrastructure.

The project not only proves robots can reliably operate in real-world scenarios, but also creates a replicable system for expanding to more hubs, smart campuses, and public-service spaces. For Yunjiang, this collaboration marks a leap from tech validation to commercial impact, complementing partnerships with companies like Tencent Cloud, Lens Technology, and global brands including Toyota, Mercedes, and Nestlé.

Looking ahead, both companies plan to deepen the integration of robotics and mobility, pushing Robotaxi operations toward fully automated, centralized, and scalable autonomous ride services.
