Ant Group: Alipay “AI Pay” Users Surpass 100 Million During Spring Festival

On February 23, Ant Group announced that during the Spring Festival holiday, the number of users of Alipay’s “AI Pay” service exceeded 100 Million. At the same time, the user base of the Ant Fortune app also surpassed 100 Million.
Currently, “AI Pay” has been launched across multiple AI-driven scenarios, including integrations with Qianwen, Rokid, and Luckin Coffee.
On February 6, Alibaba’s Qianwen officially launched a “Spring Festival USD 43,423,200 (300,000,000 RMB) Free Order Campaign,” offering each user one milk tea voucher worth USD 0.72 (5 RMB). According to official information shared by Alipay, the Qianwen app has fully integrated Alipay’s “AI Pay” functionality, enabling users to place takeout orders through a single sentence command.
According to Alipay, “Alipay AI Pay” is an innovative payment experience introduced for the AI era. It allows users to complete purchases directly while interacting with AI assistants in chat. The service is equipped with three layers of protection to ensure transaction security.
