SMM Shipbuilding, Machinery and Marine Technology Trade Fair takes place September 1–4, 2026 in Hamburg at Hamburg Messe, presenting ships and refits, shipyard installations, ship equipment, propulsion and drive systems, auxiliary systems, electrical and marine technology, port technology and maritime services. The event hosts over 2,000 exhibitors, around 48,000 visitors, and covers 90,000 sq.m. Organized by Hamburg Messe und Congress GmbH, SMM is held biennially as an international meeting point for the maritime industry where companies present innovations and technologies and visitors explore solutions, partnerships and industry developments.
