German Aerospace Industries Association (BDLI)
The Bundesverband der Deutschen Luft- und Raumfahrtindustrie e.V. (BDLI) is the principal trade association representing Germany’s aerospace industry, including civil aviation, defence and space sectors. Based in Berlin and accredited to the German Bundestag, it unites more than 260 member companies active across the aerospace value chain and engages with political institutions, regulatory bodies, national and international associations, and foreign representations to support industry interests. The BDLI provides member services that include advocacy, industry data and networking, and supports participation in major aerospace events. It is the trademark owner and organizer of ILA Berlin, a major international aerospace exhibition. As a member of the European AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association and the Federation of German Industries, the BDLI works to sustain technological leadership and economic growth in Germany’s high-tech aerospace sector.
