Miyako Messe

Miyako Messe, officially the Kyoto International Exhibition Hall, is a large convention and exhibition center in Kyoto’s Okazaki cultural district, known for hosting trade fairs, cultural exhibitions, and events such as the Kyoto International Manga Anime Fair; it offers roughly 13,000 m² of indoor exhibition space across three main halls and a special hall, multiple meeting and conference rooms, at least one onsite restaurant/café, public Wi-Fi, coin lockers, and underground parking for about 163 cars plus bicycle parking. It sits near attractions like Heian Shrine and several museums, and is easy to reach by public transport—about an 8-minute walk from Higashiyama Station on the Kyoto Subway Tozai Line, or by bus from Kyoto Station—with many hotels, shops, and tourist facilities in the surrounding central Kyoto and Gion areas.
