Japan Optics and Photonics International Expo (OPIE), held from April 22–24, 2026 at Pacifico Yokohama, showcases lasers, LED light sources, optical components, optical communication devices, lenses, optical sensors, imaging equipment, quantum technologies, positioning systems, space and astronomical optics products, and related software and peripherals. The exhibition features 490 exhibitors and 15,000 visitors, organized by NPO Japan Photonics Council, The Laser Society of Japan, and The OPTRONICS Co., Ltd. The event brings together industrial, academic, and research participants domestically and internationally, providing product demonstrations, technical presentations, and business matching opportunities.
