Xi'an Dahua 1935 Convention and Exhibition Center

Xi’an Dahua 1935 is a large cultural and commercial complex at No. 251 Taihua South Road in Xi’an, redeveloped from the historic Chang’an Dahua Textile Factory founded in 1935. Covering about 140 mu (≈93,000 m²) with roughly 87,000 m² of buildings, it preserves distinctive industrial architecture while adding modern functions. The site features the Dahua Museum (about 4,000 m²), a cluster of small theatres (about 3,300 m²), a boutique hotel with 84 rooms, and streets of shops, cafés, and restaurants, making it a creative lifestyle and event destination rather than a traditional convention center. It is famous for blending industrial heritage with contemporary culture and is near Daming Palace National Heritage Park and the Xi’an city wall. Visitors can reach it via Metro Line 4 to Hanyuan Hall Station plus a short walk or by multiple city bus routes, and the surrounding area offers additional hotels, shopping, and business amenities.
