Founded in 2003 as a spin-off from Expo Advice NV, Invent Media specializes in technology-focused B2B events for the industrial sector. Initially managing Metapro, a trade fair for metalworking technologies at Kortrijk Xpo, the company quickly expanded its portfolio to cover automation, materials, and digital industrial solutions. Over the years, Invent Media launched several prominent events, including Indumation (industrial automation and Industry 4.0/5.0), MTMS/ Machineering (materials and manufacturing technologies), ABISS (Industry of Things and digital transformation), and Prototyping MNE / D2M (industrial design to manufacturing).

By 2018, Invent Media became part of Kortrijk Xpo and rebranded as Industrialfairs, reinforcing its mission to help the Benelux industry discover tomorrow’s technologies today. Its events attract thousands of professionals across sectors like manufacturing, engineering, automation, and digitalization, combining trade fairs, expert classes, and networking platforms. Offices are located at Doorniksesteenweg 216, 8500 Kortrijk, Belgium.

Key collaborations include Agoria, Sirris, KULeuven, Howest, Vlaio Proeftuinen, Flanders Make, POM, Imec, and Kortrijk Xpo, ensuring strong industry engagement and high-quality events that bridge technology, innovation, and networking.
