HP China Ltd. was established in 1985 as the first Sino-American joint venture high-tech company in China. Its creation was facilitated by Deng Xiaoping and Henry Kissinger. The company pioneered professional IT services in China, starting with its first tech service office in Beijing in 1982. HP China also has a significant presence in software services, with its second-largest global software service center established in Shanghai in 2004. Its product range includes LaserJet printers, Pavilion PCs, and Shadow Phantom gaming laptops. The company has a vast service network with 9 regional headquarters and 37 service centers, covering 1,200 cities and counties across China.
