Setia SPICE Convention Centre

SPICE Convention Centre is a large subterranean convention venue in Bayan Lepas, Penang, completed in 2017 as part of the Setia SPICE development. Built on the former PISA site and designed by Arup, it offers nearly 79,000 sqm of event space, including a 4,060 sqm pillarless ballroom—the largest in Malaysia—across 16 flexible halls. The centre features a 7-acre rooftop public park with sustainable elements such as solar lighting, rainwater harvesting, and green landscaping, making it the largest convention facility in Penang and a key driver of the state’s business events industry.
