The Atatürk Cultural Center (Merinos AKM), built by the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, was officially opened on June 6, 2010, by then-Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Since its establishment, Merinos AKM has hosted hundreds of events, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors. The venue organizes over 1,000 events annually, including congresses, fairs, symposiums, conferences, seminars, launches, weddings, concerts, theater performances, and industry meetings, both local and international. This contributes significantly to the local economy.
