China Beverage Industry Association

The China Beverage Industry Association (CBIA), founded in 1993 and headquartered in Beijing, is a national non-profit organization representing China’s beverage industry and related enterprises. Approved by the Ministry of Civil Affairs as a first-tier national association, CBIA promotes the healthy, sustainable development of the beverage sector by guiding industry practices, fostering corporate social responsibility, and serving as a bridge between enterprises, consumers, and government.

With over 600 member companies—accounting for more than 85% of China’s total beverage output—CBIA operates through 13 specialized branches, covering areas such as mineral water, carbonated drinks, fruit and vegetable juices, tea and plant-based beverages, functional drinks, protein drinks, and coffee beverages. The association also maintains close international cooperation with organizations like ICBA, ICBWA, and IFU.

CBIA organizes the CBST China International Beverage Industry Science & Technology Exhibition, publishes two journals—China Beverage and Beverage Industry—and manages multiple official websites and social media platforms, promoting innovation, quality, and collaboration across the beverage value chain.
