International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions
The International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) was founded in 1918 and is the largest global trade association serving the amusement parks and attractions industry, representing over 6,000 members in more than 100 countries. IAAPA’s membership encompasses amusement and theme parks, water parks, family entertainment centers, zoos, aquariums, science centers, museums, resorts, manufacturers and suppliers of rides and attractions. As a non-profit trade association, IAAPA provides services including industry education, safety standards, professional development, publications like Funworld Magazine, government relations, and global networking opportunities. The association operates major trade events such as the IAAPA Expo series in Orlando, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and other regions, helping members stay informed on trends, safety practices, and operational excellence. IAAPA maintains its global headquarters in Orlando, Florida, and regional offices in locations such as Brussels, Belgium; Hong Kong and Shanghai, China; Dubai, UAE; Mexico City, Mexico; and São Paulo, Brazil.
