Shanghai Electric Cable Research Institute Co., Ltd. (SECRI), founded in 1957, is China’s national-level research and service institute for the wire and cable industry. It has played a key role in building China’s cable industry, technology, and standards systems, and remains the only comprehensive institution in the country integrating R&D, engineering design, technical services, testing and inspection, exhibitions and information services, talent training, and industry support.
