Guangdong Textile Association (GDTA)

The Guangdong Textile Association (GDTA) was established in December 1994 as a provincial textile industry trade association in Guangdong Province, China. It is a non-profit social organisation composed of state-owned, private and foreign-invested textile manufacturing enterprises, research institutions, and related organisations. GDTA serves as a key intermediary between the government and the textile industry, providing industry information, technical exchanges, economic cooperation facilitation, policy consultation, and support for industry development. The association supports Guangdong’s textile sector — one of China’s most dynamic textile and garment manufacturing hubs — by organising industry events, promoting technological advancements, supporting standards formulation, and facilitating networking among enterprises. It also coordinates trade fairs, forums and training sessions to help members stay competitive in domestic and international markets.
