The 2025 World Robot Conference (WRC) will take place from August 8 to 12, 2025, at the Beiren Yichuang International Convention and Exhibition Center in Beijing’s Economic-Technological Development Area. Hosted by the China Electronics Society and the World Robot Cooperation Organization, this marks the 10th edition of the global event, highlighting a decade of advancements in robotics technology and international collaboration.
The conference will include an opening and closing ceremony, forums, exhibitions, and major competitions. Key events such as the World Robot Expo and the World Robot Contest will run concurrently, featuring cutting-edge technologies, new product debuts, and international talent in robotics.
In 2025, the WRC will focus on humanoid robots and real-world application scenarios, with participation from over 20 global organizations and nearly 500 international and domestic experts. Prominent figures like IEEE President Kathleen A. Kramer and World Federation of Engineering Organizations President Seng Chuan Tan are confirmed speakers.
The expo will span over 50,000 square meters, featuring 200+ enterprises, including leaders like Festo and SMC, and nearly 50 top humanoid robot manufacturers. More than 100 new products will debut. The event will also host competitions including BCI Brain-Controlled Robotics, Youth Robotics Design, and the Converged Robotics Challenge, alongside new initiatives like the 2025 Humanoid Robot Application Scenarios Report and Top 10 Innovations in the World Robot Contest.
As a cornerstone for robotics development, the 2025 WRC aims to drive intelligent industry transformation, foster global cooperation, and accelerate the rise of next-generation productivity in robotics.
