Beijing International Optics Fair 2025 (CIOF) first took place in Shanghai in 1985 and moved to Beijing in 1987, where it gained official recognition from the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations and Trade, now the Ministry of Commerce. Sponsored by the China Light Industry Federation, CIOF has become the premier event for the optics industry in China, attracting international participation and support.

Over the past 32 years, the exhibition has grown in scale, influence, and reputation, solidifying its status as a key platform for the global optics industry. Held annually every September in Beijing, the fair showcases the latest innovations and trends in the eyewear sector.
