The Kunming Cross-Border E-Commerce Trade Expo 2024 (GMSE) is set to take place from September 6 to 8 in Kunming. Organized by Yunnan Wanlong Exhibition Services Co., Ltd., and co-hosted by the Kunming Municipal Government, Yunnan Provincial Department of Commerce, Kunming Comprehensive Bonded Zone Management Committee, and the Yunnan Cross-Border E-Commerce Association, this event focuses on the GMS countries with Kunming as a central hub, extending its influence to South and Southeast Asia. Through a combination of exhibitions, conferences, and various activities, the expo aims to create a comprehensive platform for government agencies, industry associations, suppliers, buyers, and experts to engage in exhibition, discussion, and business negotiation. The inaugural event is expected to feature over 300 exhibitors, covering an area of more than 20,000 square meters, with an anticipated attendance of over 50,000 visitors. Under the theme “New Trends in Cross-Border E-Commerce, New Drivers for Foreign Trade,” the expo seeks to drive the application of new technologies, models, and business formats in cross-border e-commerce, leveraging the clustering effect of exhibitions to boost related industry consumption and foreign trade growth, and fully supporting the high-quality development of the cross-border e-commerce industry.

Cross-Border Comprehensive Service Zone: Cross-border logistics, import-export trade institutions, cross-border payment, overseas warehouses, logistics and courier services, third-party warehousing, software applications, banks, third-party payments, e-commerce parks, e-commerce training, trademark registration, intellectual property, online marketing, financial investment services, accounting services, talent and education training, computer and related equipment, network and telecom operation equipment and services, quality and safety certification. Cross-Border E-Commerce Platform Zone: Domestic and international e-commerce platforms and online malls. Branded Online Goods Zone: Specialty agricultural products, flowers, tea and teaware, coffee, tourism products, clothing and accessories, bags and shoes, daily necessities, home goods, hardware tools, crafts and gifts, jewelry, baby products, children’s toys, automotive electronics, household appliances, mobile phones, sports equipment, outdoor leisure products, cosmetics, beauty and hair products, cultural products, packaged food, alcohol, etc. Community E-Commerce/Mobile Internet Zone: Social e-commerce platforms, influencer live-streaming agencies and related industries, micro-malls, micro-marketing service providers, etc. Rural Revitalization Zone: E-commerce demonstration counties, rural e-commerce platforms, high-quality rural e-commerce products, etc. Live-Streaming and Short Video Zone: Live-streaming platforms, influencer live-streaming bases, live-streaming service providers, live-streaming industry parks, MCN agencies, short video platform scenarios, network support, operator branding, short video production industry chain.
