China Arts and Crafts Association (CACA), founded in 1988, is a national social organization registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs of China. The association serves as a bridge between the government and enterprises, dedicated to promoting the development, innovation, and cultural heritage of China’s arts and crafts industry. It upholds socialist core values, integrity, and professionalism while supporting industry prosperity and modernization.
CACA oversees multiple specialized committees and branches, including carpets, lacquerware, jade, embroidery, metal art, glass art, fiber art, wood carving, jewelry, and ceramic arts, as well as youth talent committees. Its permanent office consists of seven departments: Business, Exhibition, Membership & Information, International Affairs, Publicity, Office, and Finance.
China’s arts and crafts industry employs over 10 million people, including 640 national masters, 3,200 provincial masters, and 5,000 senior artisans.
The association warmly welcomes domestic and international cooperation to advance the global development of arts and crafts.
