The Center Overview

Wuhan Living Room China Cultural Exhibition Center, located in the East Lake District’s Jin Yintan area. Developed by Zhuoer Development (Wuhan) Co., Ltd., with a total investment of 15 billion yuan and covering 1.8 million square meters, the project was designed by the world-renowned French AS Architecture Design Firm. The center includes key facilities such as the 100,000-square-meter China (Wuhan) Cultural Exhibition Center, a 50,000-square-meter conference center, a 30,000-square-meter Chinese Folk Collections Museum, a 200,000-square-meter Cultural and Art Trade Center, and a 500,000-square-meter creative industry base. The landmark structure is the 201.1-meter-high Diamond Tower. The first phase of construction, covering 800,000 square meters, is set to be completed by the end of this year, with some venues opening by 2012. Wuhan Living Room will host major events like the Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Awards, the Chinese Dance Festival, and the World Chinese Film Festival, along with various cultural exhibitions and trade events. This unique cultural complex will not only become a new symbol of Wuhan but also an influential cultural exchange platform in Central China.
