Shanghai Automobile Exhibition Center

The Center Overview

Shanghai Automobile Exhibition Center is located in the heart of Shanghai International Auto City, within the Auto Expo Park. Jointly developed by Shanghai Expo Group and Shanghai International Auto City Development Co., Ltd., it is China’s first modern exhibition venue specifically designed for the automotive industry. With a total construction area of 60,000 square meters—equally divided between exhibition space and supporting conference and office facilities—it features over 1,200 standard booths (3m × 3m).

Designed by renowned German architectural firm IFB, the center integrates seamlessly with the surrounding park and Auto City, embracing the concept of harmony between nature and motion. It serves as a comprehensive platform for exhibitions, conferences, business events, advertising, and dining, supporting Shanghai’s strategic vision to become China’s automotive industry hub.

The venue spans 39,890 sqm and includes two 12,000 sqm exhibition halls and a six-story central conference building. It offers 1,628 standard booths, 500 vehicle parking spaces, and full-service facilities for trade shows, product launches, corporate meetings, and industry forums.
